The International Centre for Responsible Tourism – Belize was founded in 2008 with the primary goal of conducting research, developing and promoting responsible tourism activities in Belize and the region.

We are a member of the growing ICRT Global Network with partners in Canada, Germany, The Gambia, South Africa and the United Kingdom with a common objective of all ICRTs which is to partner with the private sector, governments and local communities to “take responsibility for achieving sustainable tourism, and to create better places for people to live and for people to visit.” ICRT-Belize provides policy advice, conducts and facilitates research and consultations on developing Responsible Tourism in Belize, the Caribbean and Central America.
